What’s important to you?
Values are what make us who we are. They are the compass guiding everything we do – our choices and our actions. When we forget that compass, we take the wrong turn. ~ This text is taken from https://www.worldvaluesday.com/
I know I bang on about planning, I review my month, did I do what I said I’d do ~ I do this because it’s important to me, it’s a value I have ~ also it’s one of the first steps of trust and trust is the second step of BRAVING which Brené Brown shares with us in her work Rising Strong.
I plan my month so my goals and actions are in line with my values. It’s so much easier if I check in with these every month instead of once a year.
What can stop you from checking in with your values is not knowing what they are.
Because we aren’t taught our values, we can certainly learn values as we grow up, from our parents and those around us, but are they REALLY the values we want to carry through our life?
If you would like to either take part in World Values Day or review your values and don’t know where to start, start here, this is a live training I did in my Facebook group called ‘What is really important to me?’ as asked by one of it’s members, it covers traditional and easy methods for you to find out what your values are https://www.facebook.com/karenmarywilson/videos/10156175029944816/
As always I wish you every success.
